General knowledge

Today I have been working with Joshua W and Ta'ani on our general knowledge about France for today

Blast from the past

Text title: Blast from the past
Author: By David Hill

I think the main idea of this text is to see how long they have been creating rockets
One example of a supporting detail is that the Chinese used basic rockets 900 years ago
Another example of a supporting detail is that used bamboo tubes and gunpowder to make a rocket
It is clear that the main idea is about how long they have been creating rockets

Because
Rockets have been ancient and have been historical wars from 900 years ago.

Today I have been reading the book (Blast from the past) and have retold the story with the Main idea summary frame. I had to write down what the main idea of what we were learning about and also write down some examples about the story.

L.I to use QAR to help answer comprehension questions.

We also had to add that with our character trail with it as well. The character in the story was Anna and we had to use the character trail to tell about what she is like in the story.

United states general knowledge

WALT find information about the world around us

Today I have been working on my general knowledge about the United States of America. I have been working on this piece of work for two days and I have finally completed my general knowledge about America.

I have never found anything difficult but this task is really fun to do and I really like working on the general knowledge.

Simple, Compound and Complex

Simple
Compound
Complex

How may a bully react if a spider began to fly?
Once there was a bully picking on people, But the bully was reacting he saw a spider flying in the air.
The flying spider flew in the air and landed on the bully's head, it crawls on him and flings off into the air. The bully reacted and he was scared, so he ran away but the spider was chasing the bully. The spider landed on the bully’s arm but he fringed off again, nowhere to be found again

L.I to understand and apply different structures.

Today I have been working on my Google docs on the three words "simple, Compound and complex". We had to write a sentence having a "simple, Compound and complex sentence". I have wrote a fun story and the colours mean that their are different sentences and different pieces of work.

The thing that I found difficult was he word "complex" because I didn't know what it means but I have finally figured it out.
